A great financial resource

Also found out about this while attending BYU Education week. The First Presidency asked the BYU Finance Professors to put together an online finance resource for the provident living website. The link is: http://personalfinance.byu.edu The professors make available ALL of their resources and course lessons for our use. You can find pretty great stuff, like how to budget all the way to how to invest.

Great book! It shows through research why a married couple both working full-time jobs often reduces you ability to create wealth and puts your family in more financial risk than if only one person in the family worked! Amazing concept, but totally makes sense after reading it! Finally gave me a financial reason to be a stay at home mom

David gave a “presentation” on money a few years ago and recommended this book. It is an excellent book. Same idea as the book above I think.

The Millionaire Next Door

The one thing I got from this book is that you can’t just know how to earn money and hope to be financially secure from being able to earn it. You also have to know how to manage it too! And even if you don’t have a high income job—it doesn’t mean you have to be poor your entire life. You can still do well financially if you learn how to manage your money properly.
